Mountain Goat Market - Monteagle, TN
Just off I-24 this is a must stop! I would go back everyday if I could. This place is wonderful and everyone should come here. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service was incredible. I had a great time there and I would recommend this place to anyone who loves food and wants to try something new!
The sandwiches are amazing. The selection is great, with a number of options to choose from. We suggest the "Flying Pig" which consists of Chicken, Pepperjack Cheese, Bacon, Ranch served on a hoagie roll. It's fresh, made-to-order and only $8.00! Plus you get to sit in their outdoor seating area and watch the world go by while you eat it. Honestly, it's one of the best deals off I-24 when it comes to quality and quantity for your money: A sandwich that is both large enough to fill you up but not so big that you feel uncomfortable after eating it; an excellent price considering all these factors; a friendly staff; some nice tunes playing in the background... What more could you ask for?
